I Will Never Forget You

I'm such an emotion whore right now. Day after tomorrow one of Jim's friends are coming out to see Dakota. I rode him today and he did perfect. Almost too perfect.. (Don't change, I love it!)

Literally, if you knew this horse before I brought him to Jim, you would think "WHAT THE BLOODY HELL WERE YOU THINKING WHEN YOU BOUGHT HIM?! He's going to kill you!" (Like everyone else said....)

Now, he's a big teddybear and I love his personality. I almost don't want to let him go. xD (Typical mothers, never wanting to let their babies go... Except Whinnie... She was like "GET THE FAHK AWAY FROM ME!" You could tell xD)

Anyway, I'm sad, excited, worried and hopeful at the same time. I'm sad, because this may finally be the end of our 7 year friendship. I'm excited, because he might actually go to someone who will use him, and I'll be able to get another horse soon. I'm worried that something will happen the day that the guy comes to see him that will make him not buy him, and make me hate him again. I'm also hopeful that he'll buy him, because he truly is a magnificent horse and he does everything he wants him too... While looking pretty!


Anyway, I'm going out to ride him tomorrow. Not sure if I'm going to trail him or not... Jim's call on that one.


I truly believe he's worth more than $350 like I originally predicted. Today he proved it.

This horse is so skittish usually, that he'll jump at any noise. He won't run, he just freezes in place. He'll try to run away from the water hose when its on, and avoids all sources of water except the water trough. Yet, today on our amazingly beautiful ride, we went to the lake and decided to take a swim. I expected him to stop, stare at the water, snort at it and then try to run away, but NOPE, He jumped straight into it and was splashing everywhere! He was having a blast! xD

I have no doubts these new owners will care for him as well as I have, and that they'll love him as much as -if not more than- I do.

The potential buyer is a preacher whose daughter really wants to ride. He was gonna get her a lease horse, but my trainer told him my horse was for sale, so now he's coming to check him out. I don't know how I feel about it xD I'm excited, yet scared.
